Here we go......

Hello Dear family and Friends,

Garth and I are in for a new adventure.  We invite you to follow us on our mission blog "LDS Bacolod G&W Green."  We would love to have you part of our lives while we are away.  We accept comments, and will publish them after we get a chance to read them.

Our adventure all started when we received  our mission call to the " Philippines Bacolod Mission"  in January.  Our training at the MTC took place March 24-April 1, 2014.  It was awesome!  We will be working with members through the Perpetual Education Fund and Self Reliance Center in Bacolod.  We have been told we will be servicing at least two missions, Bacolod and Iloilo.
We fly out of the SLC airport April 7th and are scheduled to arrive in the Philippines April 9, 2014.
Our Mission President is President & Sister Marlo Lopez. While we were at the MTC we were able to meet their son, Jericho.  He works in the interviewing department there.  We look forward working with the Lopezs'.
With the kick off of a conference weekend feast we will be on our way.  We hear the Philippine saints get to hear conference a week later so we will have the blessing of getting it twice! Halong! (take care)
